Cope Saddlery’s base saddle includes smooth or rough out made of only the finest skirting available, custom built rawhide covered wood tree*, all leather ground seat, double ring rigging or full double-dee rigging, regular cantle binding, Brass or monel (nickel) covered stirrups up to three inches, saddle strings and leather conchas, 7’ leather latigo, 5 ½’ half-breed leather latigo w/ keeper, 100% mohair cincha w/ keeper, 2” lined and stitched billets, 4” lined and stitched rear flank cincha, one inch #1 grade bark-tanned shearling, vertical Blevins buckles, engraved sterling-silver maker’s plate, all edges hand rubbed, natural chemical-free finish, and choice of horn wrap. All saddles ready to ride. To order a saddle: I require a $650 deposit to be put on my waiting list.  We accept most major credit cards.  The deposit is non-refundable, but is transferable and guarantees the price quoted up through the date the saddle was originally agreed to be completed. As of March, 2008, Base Price is $3,400. This includes monel stirrups and solid sterling silver maker's plate.  My wait time is currently 14-18 months.
